Is "like a black body" THE oxymoron the AGW scam is based upon?

Hello All,
Every time someone, whether they be from the current climate science orthodoxy, or the main stream skeptics of anthropogenic global warming tries to explain greenhouse effect "theory", the phrase "like a black body" is inevitably used. Why? Nothing is a black body! The phrase "like a black body" is an oxymoron.

Oxymoron, "to refer to a word or phrase that contradicts itself, usually to create some rhetorical effect."

I doubt that anyone needs to have the definition of "like a" explained to them, although it should be noted in this phrase they are weasel words.

Weasel words. "is an informal term for words and phrases aimed at creating an impression that a specific and/or meaningful statement has been made, when only a vague or ambiguous claim has been communicated, enabling the specific meaning to be denied if the statement is challenged."

However, it may be useful for us to recount what the real definition of a black body IS. Black body is a concept used in physics, but it is NOT a black body (BB). That, is an abbreviation for what the concept actually is. To explain the concept I will use my own words. Please feel free to check for yourself what I say is correct, and also correct me if I am wrong about the concept in the following description in any way.

The unphysical "not in accordance with the laws or principles of physics; not corresponding to a physically possible situation."
and therefore the imaginary black body concept is that -
1) a surface, in a vacuum, with no mass, at a "resting" temperature of 0 degrees kelvin (absolute zero), that perfectly (100%) absorbs all incident electro-magnetic radiation (EMR) upon it.

2) The surface instantly and perfectly (100%) is heated to and reaches a temperature described by the Stefan-Boltzmann Law (SB) (Temperature to the fourth power) of all the received and absorbed (summed) EMR.

3) The surface instantly and perfectly (100%) emits all the received energy in a perfect BB curve, as described by Planck's Law, with a peak frequency of emission of EMR as described by Wien's displacement Law.

4) The surface then instantly returns to 0 degrees Kelvin (absolute zero).

Please note that the Stefan-Boltzmann Law, Planck's Law, and Wien's displacement Law are ONLY for an unphysical and therefore imaginary black body surface (BB), of no mass, at a resting temperature of absolute zero.
This means that BB, SB, Planck's Law, and Wien's displacement Law do not and can not explain actual thermodynamic reality (ATR).

IF in ATR the above unphysical Laws seem to predict what we observe, then it must be for completely different reasons. It would seem reasonable then to try to explain ATR, to try to understand ATR, "we" have to understand what has been omitted in BB. In those omissions is what is actually happening in ATR, to produce a very often, very similar result. Or rather unphysically calculated prediction.

This raises the obvious question, what does BB omit, that is always present in, and is the explanation of what is really happening in ATR? The answers are many, varied, dynamic, and none of which ALWAYS follow any of the above, so called "Laws". Unlike the Laws of thermodynamics, which all that is omitted in BB ALWAYS abide by.

Some of the physical attributes, properties, changes of properties, and interactions between the atmosphere, the surface, and the subsurface that BB omits -

i) Heat capacity, because the BB surface has no mass, and therefore no substance, or subsurface.

ii) Latent heat losses, and gains, particularly by the phase changes of water, from solid, to liquid, to gas, and in reverse, because the BB surface is in a vacuum.

iii) Sensible heat conduction and convection to and from a gaseous atmosphere, because the BB surface is in a vacuum.

iv) Changes in physical properties, abilities, and interactions between and of the atmosphere, the surface and the subsurface due to phase changes. This is because BB assumes everything always has the same perfect abilities, regardless of changes of state, and regardless of what it is.

The above is a very, very brief list of just some of the "things" that explain what is happening in ATR that BB omits. It would seem from this list to be very apparent that "like a black body" is an oxymoron. Is there more to the use of the phrase than that though?

To study, to try to better understand earth's climate system in ATR, if one starts from a paradigm that is based upon "like a black body", then one could easily make the mistake of ignoring -

A) The heat capacity of the oceans (a, and THE massive and dominant negative feedback within earth's climate system).

Negative feedback " occurs when some function of the output of a system, process, or mechanism is fed back in a manner that tends to reduce the fluctuations in the output, whether caused by changes in the input or by other disturbances.

Whereas positive feedback tends to lead to instability via exponential growth or oscillation, negative feedback generally promotes stability. Negative feedback tends to promote a settling to equilibrium, and reduces the effects of perturbations. Negative feedback loops in which just the right amount of correction is applied with optimum timing can be very stable, accurate, and responsive.

B) One could also easily ignore the very powerful negative feedback the water cycle has upon earth's surface too.

From everyday experience we all know that a hot bath makes for a hot bathroom, and a cold bath makes for a cold bathroom. Therefore the oceanic temperature fluctuations are a very large influence upon global mean temperature (GMT). Remembering that the Pacific ocean is nearly 50% of this planet's surface area.

We all also know clouds shade us by day, and their absence results in the night being far colder. Thus the water cycle is also a very powerful negative feedback upon earth's surface.

It seems there is far more to the use of the phrase, it raises the question -
Should earth's climate system continue to be studied from a paradigm based upon the phrase "like a black body" and all that entails, or would it be better to study the climate system of planet earth from an approach based upon the Laws of thermodynamics, that ALWAYS apply in ATR?

Can, in ATR, the Laws of thermodynamics be usurped by unphysical laws that only apply to a black body? Can the heat capacity of the world's oceans be ignored? Can the negative feedback of the water cycle (currently modeled as a positive feedback!!!!) at earth's surface also be ignored, or rather reversed? No, patently, not if we want to try to understand earth's climate system and how it works in ATR better than we do at present.

In short -
Should earth's climate system be studied using unphysically calculated mere predictions, that do not explain ATR, or should it be studied in accordance with the Laws of thermodynamics that ALWAYS apply in ATR? In Climatology the use of the phrase “like a black body” is all the evidence that should be required to demonstrate a change of paradigm is not only long overdue, it is desperately required.

Hi All,
I think this article needs a picture to illustrate the size of the problem.

The bathroom with and without a bath springs to mind.

So, an average bathroom these days is about 100 square feet. Yes / No?
