Ok, so it is only one month, and this forum is in at number 50, but....
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed
(and hence clamorous to be led to safety)
by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

H. L. Mencken.

The hobgoblins have to be imaginary so that
"they" can offer their solutions, not THE solutions.

Thank you ALL.

Thank you Mike in particular, I hope your recent posts on your site get the recognition they deserve. You are raising the subject areas of the rise of the citizen scientist as no one else is at present. Your recent descriptions of the connections between religion and the universities stand alone too. Brilliant, clear, simple, and easily, undeniably understood. I can only repeat my admiration of what you have been doing, not only in explaining clearly, but how you are describing your own journey.

It has taken me a while to work out why you put up with William Connolly. Yesterday it hit me, you used to edit Wiki, so know him / the tactics of old. It seems to me now that Connolly has caused your climate science skepticism.

I look forward to watching the rest of your journey Mike, I suspect it will be a lot closer than you suspected to the views expressed here and at PSI than you first imagined, or thought after we had spoken in Edinburgh.

BTW - Where did PSI come in the results? I did not spot it on my quick skim through.
