The "Thermostat Effect"
#21
Totally off topic Richard111, BUT, Tim Ball's new book (I am up to Chapter 8) effectively names Maurice Strong as the man who orchestrated it all (via UN and IPCC)...
I thought you would like to know.

Err, how much CO2 is there in 3 tons of air? 0.04% I would of thought, or rather assume.
At 18% of bb level of emission, of 0.04% of 3 tons, is that correct? It does seem an extraordinary rate of cooling, proportionally speaking?
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed
(and hence clamorous to be led to safety)
by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

H. L. Mencken.

The hobgoblins have to be imaginary so that
"they" can offer their solutions, not THE solutions.

Absolutely! Blew my mind! Showed me I don't understand enough about heat transfer via radiation THROUGH GASES. And heat transfer via conduction, direct molecular collisions, is supposed to be more efficient. Was writing a post about it until I realised it was garbage. Can post it as long as it is not taken seriously.

Okay. I've posted the story over in Layman's Struggle to save cluttering up this thread. And as for Maurice Strong... I've been following his machinations for a couple of years.

Please post Richard111, we all need to understand better. As you know I have posted more than my fair share of blind / incorrect allies. In the end though I hope and think I have ended up understanding better, which is after all, what we are trying to achieve.
