EXCERPT:

When he said "the earth is cooling this year," I probably should've cut and run. I'd just re-tweeted something on 2010 being tied for first place as the hottest-year-on-record, and I mistook an initial response for a genuine, thoughtful comment (albeit from a skeptical standpoint).

So I tried to engage, pointing him to the National Climatic Data Center (NOAA website) for the best available science. It didn't take long, however, before he launched into full-blown vitriol about green religion, how Al Gore is a liar, how the IPCC is not a scientific body and how the moon is made of green cheese. Okay, I made that last one up, but by then my eyes had glazed over and I was searching for the "block user" function to stop his cluster bombing of my twitter page.

MORE DRIVEL HERE

Notice that she starts with an unnamed and probably made up person. For the purpose of making a massive red herring article.

I think she made it up to flog skeptics with the usual stupid counterpoints alarmists commonly consider.

Notice that she still thinks the IPCC is a reliable source of sound climate science.Or that UNEP is also reliable.

Quote:How do you deal with people like that?

Rolleyes

This is a person who does not have any ...... skepticism skills to use.It is all gone.Just swallow the pap from the IPCC and UNEP uncriticall and say amen!

The comments are dumb too.

Pathetic.
It is our attitude toward free thought and free expression that will determine our fate. There must be no limit on the range of temperate discussion, no limits on thought. No subject must be taboo. No censor must preside at our assemblies.

To expand on her first paragraph. The one she alleged having a conversation with the bogeyman, the one I do not believe existed outside of her fevered brain.

Since the woman posted this fake story on January 20 2011.It was THIS YEAR the bogeyman was talking about.

This means he is correct.

ROFLMAO!

I especially enjoyed the response claiming man is "creating" a bunch of carbon. When I am going around with these people keeping it simple is good advice. Every time I point out CO2 in the atmosphere is only .035 percent they just go insane.
